INTAMSYS PPS is a high-performance polyphenylene sulfide filament developed for demanding industrial components exposed to chemicals, heat, corrosion, wear, and mechanically demanding environments.

PPS offers an excellent balance of mechanical, thermal, and chemical performance. According to INTAMSYS, it is completely insoluble in known solvents at 200°C, making it particularly useful for components exposed to aggressive chemicals and corrosive operating environments.

The material provides excellent stiffness, wear resistance, and self-lubricating properties. These characteristics make it suitable for moving mechanical components, wear surfaces, bushings, electrical housings, pump components, and industrial equipment.

PPS is also inherently flame retardant and tends to self-extinguish after its ignition source is removed. These properties make it especially valuable for electrical and electronic applications where dimensional stability, chemical resistance, and fire performance are important.

The filament is supplied in black with a diameter of 1.75 mm and a net material weight of 1 kg.

Processing PPS requires a high-temperature industrial printer. The INTAMSYS FUNMAT HT is officially listed as compatible with PPS and provides a nozzle temperature of up to 450°C, a build plate reaching 160°C, and a heated chamber reaching 90°C.
