INTAMSYS PEEK-CF combines the exceptional thermal and chemical performance of PEEK with 10% high-modulus chopped carbon fiber reinforcement.

The carbon-fiber reinforcement significantly increases stiffness and strength modulus compared with unfilled PEEK. It also improves heat resistance, dimensional stability, crystallization behavior, and printed surface quality, making the material suitable for mechanically and thermally demanding components.

According to INTAMSYS, PEEK-CF provides a heat-deflection temperature reaching up to 300°C. Its high modulus and low deformation characteristics make it particularly useful for applications where rigidity, dimensional accuracy, and long-term performance are more important than flexibility.

PEEK-CF is commonly used for aerospace, automotive, defense, semiconductor, oil and gas, industrial tooling, and advanced manufacturing applications. It is suitable for functional prototypes, jigs, fixtures, production tools, and low-volume end-use components exposed to elevated temperatures and aggressive environments.

The filament is black, has a diameter of 1.75 mm, and is available in 500 g, 1 kg, and 3 kg spool sizes.

Printing PEEK-CF requires a high-temperature industrial 3D printer. The INTAMSYS FUNMAT HT provides the required high-temperature nozzle, heated build platform, and controlled heated chamber needed to process PEEK-class materials.

Because carbon-fiber-filled filaments are abrasive, users should follow the printer manufacturer’s instructions and use the appropriate INTAMSYS high-temperature, wear-resistant nozzle or printhead configuration.
