INTAMSYS PEEK is a high-performance polyether ether ketone filament developed for demanding industrial, engineering, research, and production applications.

PEEK combines excellent mechanical performance with outstanding resistance to elevated temperatures, chemicals, steam, hydrolysis, radiation, and continuous wear. Printed components can be used in demanding environments where conventional thermoplastics such as PLA, ABS, and standard engineering polymers may not provide sufficient performance.

The material offers long-term temperature performance at up to 250°C and carries a UL94 V-0 flame-retardancy rating. Its self-lubricating properties make it suitable for moving components, wear surfaces, bushings, gears, and other mechanically demanding parts.

INTAMSYS states that its PEEK material has FAR, FDA, and biocompatibility certifications. Suitability for a specific regulated or safety-critical application must still be evaluated using the relevant certification documentation and the customer’s required manufacturing process.

For reliable results, PEEK requires a high-temperature printing system. The FUNMAT HT provides a nozzle temperature of up to 450°C, a build plate temperature of up to 160°C, and a heated chamber reaching up to 90°C.

INTAMSYS material profiles are available through its slicing software, allowing users to begin with validated settings and adjust them according to part geometry and application requirements.
